17th May

To mark 40 years since the emergence of the very first Cripps Pink tree and the world famous Pink Lady apple, Southern Forests growers invite you to join them on May 17 to celebrate all things Pink. The 40 years of Pink festival will showcase interactive Pink Lady cooking demonstrations by local’s chefs, live music, kids apple activities, food samples galore and guided tours of the surrounding orchards with apple picking and take home apples!


17th May

 Lyster Orchards in Manjimup have teamed with WA’s Prince of Flesh, Vince Garreffa to bring you the Pink Lady & Pork Luncheon.  A boutique culinary experience themed on the classic union of pork and Pink Lady apples, complemented by locally grown produce from our pristine Southern Forest region, this five course luncheon matched with premium local award winning wines will celebrate the Pink Lady harvest in its “hometown”. Tickets are $150 per person and available from TicketBo.

23rd – 25th May

If you’re a car enthusiast head down to Manjimup to partake in this FREE motorsport event 60 tarmac rally cars will be competing this year speeding and winding through Manjimup and Pemberton along their course. You will even have a chance to go for a ‘hot lap’ and take in the beauty of the Southern Forest region.


27th – 29th June

This highly acclaimed festival brings together the best local food and wine of the region with the opportunity to tantalize your sensations and taste Manjimup truffles! The Truffle Kerfuffle can be enjoyed over a weekend or one day with two and half days of jam packed activities. These include the bustling farmers markets, extravagant 5 course Hunt and Harvest Gala Dinners that are expertly matched with local wines and prepared by celebrated local chefs. Join the truffle hunters rummaging through the oaks in search of the prized truffle or develop your culinary skills at the festivals popular master classes showcasing the local produce masterfully created by well renowned chefs, food discussion seminars and wine tastings; with foodies and farmers alike sharing in the amazing atmosphere.  The festival is a hive of activity and a must do event this winter!
