New Car Review: 2013 Mazda CX-5 2.5

There’s no doubt that Mazda hit the jackpot with its CX-5 SUV when it was released early in 2012.

It’s been Australia’s top-selling medium-sized SUV for many months and deservedly so.

New Car Review: 2013 Kia Rondo SLi Diesel

Instead of a people mover, think of the Kia Rondo more as a hatchback with the bonus of two spare seats in the back and you shouldn’t be disappointed.

That’s because the new Kia Rondo is a small seven-seater wagon that’s more about providing the option of carrying two extra people than carrying seven all the time.

BMW’s Driving Experience Manager, Andrew McLellan said that “after each training session, every driver will have the vehicle – and themselves – under better control than ever before”.

Clients get to experience everything from essential driving skills, such as avoiding an obstacle on a wet road, to gaining valuable experience away from the freeway on the DC road circuits.

Andrew had this to say about the Driving Centre circuit; “Fantastic track to run our Driving Experiences in a safe and controlled environment. The venue has a lot to offer with meetings and all this space to showcase the vehicles. We will definitely be back again!”

RAC Leavers Pit Stop

For many teenagers, the trip down south for Leavers is the first big drive since having their license. But with the excitement, driver fatigue and back seat distractions they’ll face on the journey, we want to help ensure they arrive at their destination safe and sound.

That’s why we’re inviting them to stop off at the RAC Leavers Pit Stop.

We’ll be at the Dorsett Road rest stop along Forrest Highway in Waroona from 10am to 2pm, Friday 22 November. Leavers can enjoy:

  • Free mechanical checks from our RAC Patrols to help make sure their car is in working order
  • Free sausage sizzle and soft drink thanks to the SES to refuel them for their drive
  • Music and drinks from the team at Red Bull
  • Free bouncy castle so they can let off some energy before they continue their drive down south

School leavers who have their licence may also qualify for a free RAC Driver Enhancement course to increase their safe driving skills. RAC car insurance policy holders under 25 years old age are entitled to attend this half-day practical driving course for free.
